SummaryThe Gaddang people are believed to have lived in the Cagayan Valley long before the arrival of Spanish colonizers. They are part of the larger Austronesian-speaking population that spread throughout the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia. The Gaddang, along with other ethnic groups, engaged in farming, hunting, and fishing as their primary means of subsistence. MissionTo preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Gaddang people in Aparri, Cagayan, while fostering a strong sense of community, resilience, and sustainable development. We aim to empower our community through education, cultural preservation, and inclusive growth, ensuring that our unique identity thrives for future generations.
